Buying the right cot for your baby can be quite a challenge, give the range of choices today. Comfort being paramount, here are some of the most preferred baby cots by most parents and babies.

· Convertible Cot:

Famously known as lifetime cots, they are great and can come in handy for many years. These cots allow you to adjust the mattress height in it which turns them into a toddler bed for older infants. You can also use them as a day bed.

Slightly on the expensive side, convertible cots are still a sound investment for the years to come.

· Round cots:

If space is your challenge, round cots are an apt choice. These cots not only serve as beds but also offer your toddler an additional playing space. The child can use this space as he/she grows. These cots have a unique design as well as a modernized and classical appearance. Usually, round cots care is completed with canopies and posters.

All you have to do is opt for round accessories such as a round mattress, round bumpers, and crib beddings

· Canopy Cots:

Perhaps one of the most preferred cots and a stylish one too. Canopy cots feature a canopy on top which offers a cute and cozy environment for the little one to sleep in. These cots are comfortable too and have a unique appearance.

You can always detach the canopy as your baby turns into a toddler and continue using it till your baby is ready to move out of it.

· Sleigh Cots:

Garnering increasing popularity, the sleigh-style cot is essentially designed in the form of a sleigh. These cots give the nursery an instant facelift and a joyful vibe. The sleigh cots are manufactured using solid footboards and headboards instead of the customary slats. As a result, these are sturdy and more durable as compared to other cots.

· Drop-side Cots:

These cots allow you to get your baby in and out of the cot comfortably. The railing of the drop-side cots can be lowered which makes it convenient for you to reach your baby. Furthermore, it prevents you from stooping over the cot. A word of caution here though, ensure you take all child-friendly measures with this crib as there are chances that your toddler may lower the rail and can stumble on the floor while doing so.

Today, the market offers you a plethora of baby cots and bed accessories. Ensure you pick the right one for your baby. And, if you still don’t find anything head straight to IKEA’s website.
